This little angel baby is my newest Year to Remember baby! She and her mommy came to visit me in the studio for her first session, and she even let me get some beautiful sleeping pics. Love it! Here she is, 2 months old
So if anyone is out there thinking that you would like to go with my baby plan but you missed the newborn window, we just rework it fit your baby’s age now.

In addition to D&D, I work with several commercial clients throughout the year, and my VIPs (Year to Remember families, Party hosting families, and those booking multiple sessions in advance) get the added benefit of being chosen as models for these images! I require a signed model release on behalf of myself and the advertising company. The VIP families also get complementary images! Please email me if you are interested in being added to my model list.
This beautiful Mama-to-be has it, doesn’t she?! That light about her that every preggie mama wants… that glow… I am so excited to meet her sweet baby girl in just a couple of short weeks!! I hope she has Mommy’s beautiful curly hair…

I love love love this family – from the very first session with them back in 2005(!!) when these bubbly twins were just 1 year old! We had a lot of fun with their {windows to the soul} mini session, and I’m so excited that it wasn’t all the same gorgeous faces, bright-eyed & smiling (don’t worry mom – we got those too!), but that the kids let loose and showed off their fantastic funny personalities for the camera too!

This sweet baby girl was another on my {windows to the soul} mini session babies. At only 4 months old she has the most stunning eyes! Also love that mommy requested very colorful images – which in turn produced some of the best black and white images – I can’t decide which I like better! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek
Here we go! I loved every single one of my mini sessions last sunday and I know the mama’s are all anxious to see the sneak peeks! I will be posting them as quickly as I can Here’s a sweet little baby boy with beautiful eyes and long lashes – I so love sitting babies & thumbsuckers!!
I think this is the magic age for newborn photos. Exactly why I prefer to do a newborn session within the first week! I love how many different setups we were able to do, and in the brief minutes while we waited for this sweet girl to fall asleep, I even got some great pics of her big brothers. Such a beautiful family! Thanks again for having me over for this session

another great prop idea – baby doll beds! They are all over ebay and craigslist, so if you have an upcoming newborn session with me and this looks like fun to you, start searching! I can help with suggestions if you need them too

After a week long (or more?) blog hiatus! I have been shooting and editing like a mad woman and falling behind on my posts – so here goes a few
Loved this beautiful baby girl – only 10 days old when I photographed her…
A quick reminder to my upcoming newborn sessions – if there is a certain pattern that you love, or a cool knit hat that you find in the perfect color, get it and have it available at your newborn session – sometimes the best props are not baby blankets. The orange flower background in the first image below was a dinner napkin that I found at World Market! If you love it, chances are I can incorporate it into your session!
It’s raining newborns and it’s not even spring yet! I love it sooo much. Every newborn session is so full of possibilities and love. So amazing and wonderful to be a part of Thank you again for inviting me into your home to photograph your new beautiful baby boy. He was so good and we got to do a lot of different poses! I am in love with your family pic too – I don’t usually post many family pics here on my blog because even though I am happy to do a family pic with each and every regular session, I feel that kiddos are my specialty. But you are such a beautiful little family and this one just called to me, you know? Anyways, I’ll quit rambling and get on with the plethora of pics I chose for your sneak peek! Enjoy!!
