I know her mommy is going to be so excited to see these! I loved this session and I knew I would just as soon as I saw these white-blonde curls.  And talk about a PRO – this sweet girl is 2 years old, and I know 2 year olds – she acted so much more mature! Such a good listener and had amazing self control.  Which, as some parents know, is just about unheard-of at that age.   

I am secretly hoping my new baby girl will have curls, but with mine & Philip’s hair, there’s not much of a chance of that.  She will be a blondie though, for sure, just like we were and Sofia is.  Every single time I photograph a little blonde kiddo, I get so excited to meet my new baby!

I swear I must be so lucky to get the cutest, sweetest, sleepiest newborns! And with this session, I lucked out twice, since the older brother was simply gorgeous Look at those blue eyes!

This is a great family, one that I have been photographing for the past couple years.  Thanks for being so patient! I know it can’t be easy, but I really really appreciate it

Here is a gorgeous new boy who took just a little while to fall asleep, but when he did he was OUT! yippee Another perfect little newborn session!

And the more the better! My belly is a’growing and it’s getting tougher to chase little kiddos during the sessions.  But these newborns, I tell ya, are just the sweetest when they fall asleep. And when you least expect it, a great smile out of nowhere Makes me so happy to have this for a job… 

This sweet boy was no exception. I love this whole family They have been with me for a few years now ~ I actually photographed the big sister here for the first time when she was only 6 months old.  And she still asked me (about a dozen or more times during this session), “what’s your name?” haha! She is featured above in the scrolling header too – the little girl on her little lamb rocker in front of the big windows

These amazing girls have been through a lot in their short lives.  They were born at last April at only 25 weeks gestation, and weighed barely over a pound each, and lived in the NICU until a month or so ago. Collectively they have had 1 heart surgery, 1 spinal tap, 3 staph infections and 11 blood transfusions. I photographed them in the NICU at three months old, and now again at 5 months – I am so happy that they are both home and healthy and ready for their newborn session!
