I love my Year to Remember babies so much. And this sweet boy will forever be one of my absolute favorites.  Those big beautiful eyes, chubby cheeks, beaming personality and huge happy grins made every session such a joy, and I think you can see it in the pictures.  Even his serious expressions make me swoon! I usually try to put a few pics from every session in the past year into these “graduate” posts, but I decided instead to feature a ton of pics from this last Year to Remember session instead.  I hope everyone enjoys

It was such a beautiful day at the Dallas Arboretum.  Let the summer begin!

First of all – HUGE thank you to my families who made the trip to downtown McKinney today for the ArtWalk! And another big thank you to all of the new people who I met today who stopped into the mezzanine at Mama Emilia’s to check out my work and register for my little giveaway

Did I say little? Ha… This evening Sofia and I had way too much fun drawing names of winners. She was very serious about it all and took lots of time swishing her little hand around in the bag before pulling out the winning papers. We did the big prizes first, the free Mini Sessions, then the $100 Gift Certificates, and since Sof was loving it so much we added a few more fun little items to the prize list

“I am excited to share with you this wonderful candid picture I took of my daughter during the holidays. Kayla is just a little over 2 years old and this was her first time to ever “see and taste” snow. She was so excited, every morning during the time it was snowing she woke up and immediately put on her boots (with her pj’s on) and wanted to go catch snowflakes with her daddy and me.
The picture that is attached is so sweet to me because she asked me to take her picture in the snow and that she promised she would smile “really big”.  She did indeed smile really big, such a sweet genuine smile captured!
 They grow up too fast and I am so thankful to have this precious little girl.

I am very excited to announce that I am going to be having a special day of mini sessions at Dimples & Dandelions, a fabulous new children’s boutique at the new Shops at Starwood in Frisco, TX.  They also have a online store with thousands of fun options for clothes, accessories, gifts, gear, and nursery furniture!  

I feel we are a match made in heaven ~ I am often complemented on my style of photography, being soulful, dreamy, light as air, and colorful. And FUN! I strive to achieve these characteristics in every frame.  Dimples & Dandelions is much the same, with colorful outfits and accessories, soulful vintage style, light as air tutus and petti skirts, and a fun dreamy attitude towards children’s clothing.

My favorite thing about Christmas is like many of you, seeing the magic and wonder in my babies eyes.  This Christmas is especially exciting for my family because my sweet baby Alina will be turning 1 just 3 days before Santa comes! It will be an even more  HUGE holiday at my house from now on!
