I meant to post this over a week ago, but I have been up to my eyeballs in family stuff and work…
I not only have the best families as clients, and the sweet babies I photograph have the best grandparents! This cutehat was knitted by one of my families’ grandma for my little Alina - thank you again so much! I have such an obsession with baby hats it’s not funny!
I hope everyone out there is enjoying it with those you love 
We are finally on the mend!! I am still in quarantine with Alina for another week, but looking ahead and excited to get back to my waiting list!

here are a few pics from the past week…
Some of you already know this, but we have had a rough week with our new baby Alina. She’s 5 weeks old now and was diagnosed with RSV (very suddenly – a small head cold escalated in only a matter of hours), which ended up with us in the ER and then admitted to the hospital tuesday night. Her breathing is better, with treatments every 3-4 hours, but she has gastroenteritis as well and we are having to feed her very small amounts every hour. We are home now and Philip and I are taking turns in 4 hour shifts.
I made it nearly halfway through my waiting list before Alina became sick and am now having to go back through several newly scheduled bookings and figure out new dates. We are basically in quarantine with Alina for the next few weeks, except to take Sofia to her mothers day out twice a week. If I have not gotten to you yet, you now know why. I am just taking this one day at a time to get my baby healthy again. It is so so scary when they are this little. I appreciate everyone’s prayers, healing vibes, and patience yet again.
Since I have a stack of announcements sitting here waiting to go out to most of you, I thought I would just post it here and you can act surprised when you see it in your mailbox

And this lil one is GROWING! Just a little peanut when I saw him last! I tell you – every ounce of this boy is pure sweetness, and he lasted so long for me! It was such a great session Enjoy the pictures B & C!
Many of you remember my post back in April of Ava’s Rule, which is what to teach your children to do if they are ever accidentally locked in a parked car. Sofia and I sent up a pink balloon to the little SuperPrincess in heaven in February of 2007 after their tragedy.
Ava’s mother Sheye, has been a very big inspiration to my photography over the past couple of years, and I would like to extend a gorgeous idea that she had, to remember & honor her daughter with a special Christmas tree for her SuperPrincess.

I emailed Sheye and asked if I could blog about this and she said that I could put her address and whomever would like to contribute an Ava decoration could. “Pink. Pretty. Sparkly. Home-made. Kid-made. Anything.”
I love this family so much Thank you again for inviting me to Chicago! It was such a great experience and I can’t wait to see you all again There were SO MANY great ones, it took me forever to decide what to show here!
